So this will probably kill posterous, but its a try.  Its not technically THE first sunset of the year – but the first one I’ve been able to take a photo(s) of.

It’s more to mark the fact that this evening was my first cycle home in twilight and not dark for a few months.  Finally the days are getting longer.  That’s something to lift the spirits.  Taken by the art of engagement at the bowl – looking out over furzton.

I’ve wanted to make one of these for years – its my favourite thing that my mum makes. I stole the recipe over the holiday and made it tonight. Easy if a bit long winded.
Its nicer when its cold but not too much chance of that.
